MTV World Stage returns to Malaysia for the third time!
This year, MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia 2011 will be held at a new venue, i-City in Shah Alam, on 24 July 2011. The outdoor concert will feature live performances from popular international, regional and local recording artists. The final lineup is: Thirty Seconds To Mars, Neon Trees, Beast and popular local band Pop Shuvit
MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will be staged in front of a live audience of about 15,000 fans. The 2-hour on-air version of MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will premiere on MTV SEA channel on 8 August at 10pm (Indonesia), 11pm (Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines) and 12am (Malaysia). An hour-long version of MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will also be broadcast globally in 154 countries reaching over 550 million households later in the year.
B2ST commented, “We’re happy that we are going to Malaysia to perform on stage with world-famous artists. Many people from around the globe watch and listen to B2ST through YouTube, but we’re excited to get our live performance broadcasted all over the world.”
B2ST is the only Korean artist to be invited this year, and is the second Korean artist – following the Wonder Girls – to ever perform on MTV’s “World Stage”. It’s a dream come true for Malaysian fans as well, since B2ST will host a fan-meet tour in the country prior to performing on MTV.
